Self-confidence can be referred as the ability to trust oneself and one’s capabilities of reaching a goal. It’s one of the ingredients for success.
A lack of self-confidence affects ones emotional and mental well-being – it might transform one into a pessimist having trouble dealing with failure, social anxiety and results in stress.
There is a fine line between confidence and arrogance, and it should not be mixed. Arrogance is false confidence and it’s usually destructive.
