“Education Reduces Poverty”

Education is essential to our world’s economic development and can help eradicate poverty. We believe that a balanced education system promotes economic development, productivity and can generate individual income. Investing in education can be an efficient means of eradicating poverty. According to official reports, 171 million people were lifted out of extreme poverty situations in the last 10 years having left school with basic reading skills. Statistics show that if all children were educated with basic reading and writing skills, the world’s poverty could be reduced by 15% a year.
