About Speaker

Arif Zaman

Arif brings more than a decade of proven experience in internal audit, risk management and fraud investigation. He is the Head of Internal Audit at Emaar Industries & Investments based in Dubai, UAE. He authored several technical articles published at the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) magazine. He is a key note speaker at several summit and conferences on the topic of internal audit, risk management and corporate governance. He is being interviewed for his achievements by ACCA and IA 360.

Arif Zaman is the Head of Internal Audit at Emaar Industries and Investments (EII) – Private Joint Stock Company. Before joining EII, he was the Group Internal Audit Manager at HSA Group based in Dubai, where he was responsible to look after all the regional teams with primary focus in Middle East, Asia and Africa regions. Prior to that, Arif served for Telenor (Telecommunication) as Internal Audit Executive responsible for finance and technology audit engagements. Before that, Mr. Arif work with Ernst & Young (EY) as a Senior Consultant at Business Risk Advisory Services.

Arif holds qualifications MSc ,FCCA, CIA, CISA,CFE, CCSA, CRMA, CRBA, CPA,CGA and ISO 31000
