“The Importance of Character”
Character is the distinctive moral qualities of an individual whereas reputation is the general opinion of others of a person. Character is who you are, but reputation is how the society sees you. Author Donald Miller says, “People don’t judge who we are, they judge who we’ve led them to believe we are. The more time and effort we put into making ourselves look great, the longer and harder the fall when the truth comes out. And eventually the truth comes out.”An individual with good character would in turn have a good personality.
